Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Lennox survived off a student's stipend as well as working part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox made the decision to alter her profession following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band when the band was featured on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she served as the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop band. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her solo debut album Diva. This was released in 1992. This album became a huge success, both in terms of selling and critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues soul tracks from her early childhood. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. She released her first solo album along with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a singer-songwriter. In the late 70s, she gained a little fame when the lead singer the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit songs like Why, and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It features cover versions of songs like"No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself as well as a compilation.
